Hello & Welcome to Just Answer,

I'm Greg and will do my best to assist you today.

Sorry I didn't see your question earlier and to hear of any issue you are having with your phones.

To help you with this issue, may I ask:

1) What is the AGE of this system?

2) WHEN was the issue first noticed?

3) Do ALL handsets have this charging issue?

4) What TYPE of batteries were used to replace the old ones?

Please REPLY using the box below.

Thanks

I think of about 5 years old.(- motiveit about 3weeks Ago. It is on two of the chargers. I used aaA size batteries. With the third phone I used rechRBle batteries but not on two of the other phones

OK - if you are NOT using RECHARGEABLE batteries, that may be the issue.

These handset can ONLY use rechargeable batteries of the correct type.

Let me look up the part number and type of batteries and send that back to you.

Hi again,

OK - the Panasonic battery part number is ***** and you MAY be able to get these at a local store.

NOTE: They do NOT necessarily need to be "Panasonic" branded batteries, but they DO need to be the correct TYPE (Nickel metal hydride (Ni-MH))

As a reference, I have a link to a search I did for these batteries on Amazon below. They usually have a much better price than local stores - especially if you purchase "bulk packs".
