Can you remove the power from the base unit and remove the batteries from the phone.

Wait 10 minutes, connect the power to the base unit, wait 3 minutes put the batteries back in the phone and tell me if you can now call please.

I have tried this and it has not corrected the problem?
Customer: replied 3 months ago.
Will you email me the instruction manual?
Expert:  Richard replied 3 months ago.

You can get the manual here

http://www.manualslib.com/manual/866034/Panasonic-Kx-Tga20.html#manual

But it looks to be a line issue.

What do people hear when they try to call you?

And who is your provider?

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
We can call out with good transmission. We can not recieve incoming calls? Our provider is ATT
Expert:  Richard replied 3 months ago.

ok sorry but I am a bit confused now Bruce...

At the start I asked if you could make calls with the phone, and you said No, are you now saying thats incorrect and you can make calls?

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
Sorry no outgoing calls! Some incoming calls are received fine. But the majority of incoming calls cannot be received! When answered we get a fail tone and nothing else!
Customer: replied 3 months ago.
Why don't you call the phone from your end and listen?
Expert:  Richard replied 3 months ago.

ok, I need you to rule out if there is an outage in your area or location causing this

Please contact AT&T on(###) ###-####/p>

Let me know the results please

The model you gave me

Is a Key Detector, can you confirm the correct model number please

Complied but call did not go thru!
ATT will send out repair tech to trouble shoot our landline service connection by tomorrow! My cordless phones still not working!
Expert:  Richard replied 3 months ago.

If they checked the line and said nothing is wrong then it means It is the phone's base station that has faulted, as AT&T ruled the line as working

I am really sorry about this and you are going to have to return the phone to have it replaced. It will be covered by the warranty if this has not expired, and the replacement will be done at no cost to you.

I am really sorry about this, and if you have problems, or would like any additional information or assistance, please do not hesitate to let me know.

And if you can take a second to rate my service by clicking one of the stars at the top of the page, then submit, that would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you
