Hi Adair,
My name is***** will try my best to help you with your question.

Sorry to hear you are having this issue.

First, change the Allow Redirect setting on your Extension:

  1. Place the programming overlay on your T7316e telephone.
  2. Press Feature **266344 (CONFIG). The display shows Password:
  3. Press Feature **727587 (SAPLUS). The display shows Terminals & Extns.
  4. Press Show. The display shows Show extn#:
  5. Enter the extension number of the telephone you want to programme. The display showsnnn:nnn.
  6. Press Show. The display shows Line access.
  7. Press Next until the display shows Restrictions.
  8. Press Show. The display shows Restrn filters.
  9. Press Next until the display shows Extn restrns.
  10. Press Show.
  11. Press Next until the display shows Allow redirect:
  12. Press CHNG to change the setting from No to Yes.

Using the Line Redirect feature on your Telephone extension:

Leave the handset down on the Telephone.

  1. Press Feature 84.
  2. Press one of the Intercom keys, followed by the digit used to access an external line Pool, for example 9.
  3. Enter the full telephone number to where you want to divert your incoming calls (using no more than 24 digits), then press either the HOLD button or OK key.
  4. Select the lines programmed on your telephone extension, you want to divert by pressing either the ALL key or individual line keys.
  5. Wait until the line indicators for the selected lines are lit, then press either the HOLDbutton or the OK key.

Notes:

  • If you press HOLD button or OK key before all the lines light up, those lines not lit will not be diverted.
  • The line chosen for diverting calls to an external number can still be used normally when it is not busy on a redirected call.
  • To avoid Line Redirection failing because the chosen line is in use, choose a line Pool with several lines in it.
  • The system does not check that the number you give for Line Redirection is a valid one. If you divert to an invalid number, Line Redirection fails.

Cancelling the Line Redirection feature:

Leave the handset down on the Telephone.

  1. Press Feature #84
  2. Select the All button or the lines you no longer want to be directed to the external number.
  3. Press the OK key.

Using the Call Forwarding feature on your extension, to divert your incoming calls to an external number:

Leave the handset down on the Telephone.

  1. Press Feature 4 or your Call Forward button.
  2. Press the digit used to access an external line e.g. 9.
  3. Enter the full external number you want your calls to be forwarded to.
  4. Press the OK key or the HOLD button.

All calls (internal & external) to your extension will be diverted to the external number.

Cancelling the Call forwarding feature on your extension:

Leave the handset down on the Telephone.

  • Press Feature #4 or your Call Forward button.
