Customer: replied 4 months ago.
nothing works so I am giving up on this phone. Thank you anyway. Good Bye
Expert:  Yvette replied 4 months ago.

You may want to try another way to turn on the ringer before giving up. You will need a second phone to do this.

1. Have the handset for the KX-TGA402 nearby where you can see the dial.

2. Using a cell phone dial your home number.

3. You should see the number come up on the Panasonic phone. DON"T ANSWER IT.

4. While the Caller ID is still being displayed continually press the Up Arrow on the Panasonic handset until the ringer comes on.

NOTE: Please see the attached file below showing the up arrow.

IMPORTANT: You have to press the Up Arrow when the phone would normally be ringing.

Please let me know if the ringer comes on.

I appreciated how you tried to help me. I know I am old and do not understand things like I used to. I do not mind paying the $5.00 as mentioned but I never agreed to any member thing for monthly payments. I do not have the funds to join such a thing. I was shocked to see I was charged a fee for such. Please cancel any membership thing you have for me immediately. Yvette was very kind to try to help me and perhaps if I understood things better she would have got my phone working.
