Hello & Welcome to Just Answer,
Sorry to hear of any issue you are having with your phones.
To help you with this issue, may I ask:
1) The Make & Model Number of the phone system you are working with? If this is a cordless system, that model should be printed on a sticker on the bottom or back of the main base unit.
2) What phone service provider (phone company) you have for this phone line?
3) If you have ANY other devices (phones, fax, etc.) attached to this same phone line and if so, are they working properly?
OK - if you have Magic Jack for your service and it is for BOTH phones that display the same symptoms, that points us at the Magic Jack as the cause of the issue.
So may I ask if you have disconnected the Magic Jack from the network connection, then reconnected - in an attempt to "reboot" the device?
If so, the next step would be to log into your Magic Jack account and check the device for proper operation, and perhaps to "reinitialize" the device.
Please let me know what happens when you try these things.
I don't have the ability to call at this time (no working phone available), but I can try to have someone call you - if you request the phone call option from your end.
Please let me know if you have rebooted your magic jack at this point.
I see it has been a few days and I just wanted to follow up to see if you have any more questions concerning this issue or if the issue was resolved?
I look forward to any further questions or results that you may have.
Thanks, ***** *****--. .-(im)
