Hello & Welcome to Just Answer,
You may not need a new phone, as there are a few things to check.
But first, may I ask:
1) The AGE of this system?
2) WHEN did this issue first begin (or was noticed)?
3) What phone service provider (phone company) do you have for this phone line?
4) If you have ANY other devices (phones, fax, alarm system, etc.) attached to this same phone line (not part of the MAIN system)?
With the symptom of "static" on the line or messages, I know if replacing the phone would be the solution - but you are free to try.
Please let me know if you would like to continue with further troubleshooting steps.
In the mean time, I will open your question for other experts to chime in.
Take Care, Greg A.
We experts do not have access to any of your account information, including any memberships. But you should be able to use your "My Account" link on your side of the system and be able to handle anything related to your account.
Please let me know if you would like to continue with troubleshooting the phone issue.
I see it has been a few days and I just wanted to follow up to see if you have any more questions concerning this issue or if the issue was resolved.
I look forward to any further questions or results that you may have.
Thanks, ***** *****--. .-(im)
