May I ask for a bit more detail, such as:
1) The Make & Model Number of the phone system you are working with?2) Can you VERIFY that the phone service provider (phone company) for this line is AT&T?
3) What TYPE of service are you getting from your provider ("old style" - direct wire - or "Digital-based" - such as U-Verse)?4) If you have ANY other devices (phones, fax, alarm system, etc.) attached to this same phone line (not part of the MAIN system)?
5) What kind of "run-around" did you get from the AT&T folks? That is, did they mention wide range outages in your area, or some other details?
I see it has been a few days and I just wanted to follow up to see if you have any more questions concerning this issue or if the issue was resolved.
