Customer Question

I have a Panasonic KX-TG6641 B telephone system with 4 additional cordless telephones. Just today the base station has gone dead - no message on the LED screen and none of the telephones are ringing on incoming calls. The remote phones can make outgoing calls.
The power cord appears to be OK. I have unplugged the base and re-plugged it a few times. No response.
Can the base station be revived? If not, if I purchase a new base station will my existing remote phones work on a new base. Is there a limit to the number of remotes?
Thank you

Hello, I’m Nathan, and I’ll be assisting you today. My livelihood depends on your positive feedback, so your satisfaction is my highest priority.

Sorry to hear you’re having trouble.

If you feel the power cord (the wall plug portion), does it seem warm to the touch?

If no, you probably just have a bad power supply, which can be replaced: http://amzn.to/1Pnv4F9 (this is the same adapter for the extra chargers too, so you can test one first to be sure before replcing).

Otherwise the base unit is faulty, most likely damaged by a power surge.

You can't buy just a base, but can get another of the same system and pair the existing handsets to it (used though, this model is discontinued): http://amzn.to/1Pnv8Vk
