Is your cell asking you for a pin to pair the panasonic?

Or the panasonic is asking for a pin to pair to the cell?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
It said to pair with KX-TG76. Type the device's required pin.

I don't know what you mean by "it", are you seeing this message on the cell or the panasonic?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
On the cell
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
My cell service is Verizon.
Expert:  Nathan replied 1 year ago.

OKay thank you for confirming.

0000 is the panasonic default, but can be changed

if you do not know what it was changed to, you'll need to reset it:
On a panasonic handset, press:

MENU#619

*7000

enter a new 4 digit pin (I'd suggest using 0000 again) OK
enter pin once more to confirm SAVE OFF

On the Panasonic keep asking for old pin
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I change the pin but it won't pair
Expert:  Nathan replied 1 year ago.

You may have missed a step in the process.

Please follow the above steps exactly,

if you do so, you don't need to enter the old pin, that is the purpose of putting in the *7000, to clear it

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Hold on! I'm trying.
Expert:  Nathan replied 1 year ago.

No problem, take your time.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Thanks for your help! I will keep trying!
Expert:  Nathan replied 1 year ago.

You're welcome. If still stuck, try unplugging power to the main base station for 5 minutes to reset it, then try the pin reset steps again.

Best of luck to you,

Nathan
