No, this is not working for our system. We have the PC card from 2001. I have searched our user guides, the internet and still cannot find the correct way to do this.

Thanks, ***** ***** really terrible with this stuff.
May I have the full model # ***** your system and how old it is?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I do not see the model number on the phone, it only says AVAYA, but it's the PARTNER Voice Messaging PC Card and we got it in 2001.

Hi look on the bottom or the back of the phones main system.
I will need that.
Also do you have the user manual?
According to Avaya these are the directions:
Change Day Greeting on Partner Messaging
Dial intercom 777
Enter 0 #
Enter Password #
Press 9 to get into System Administration mode
Press 3 for Automated Attendant administration
Press 1 Automated Attendant 1
Press 1 for day menu or 2 for night menu
Press 6 to modify menu
Press * # (to by-pass Selector Code changes)
Press 1 to record your new greeting
Record new greeting when done Press 1 to stop recording.
Press * # ***** save the change
Use these instructions if you have a Partner PVM PC 4 or 12 mailbox card
Change Day Greeting on PVM Messaging Card
Dial intercom 777
Enter 0#
Enter Password#
Press 3 for Automated Attendant Prompt
Press 1 to record
Press 1 when done
BUT you should be able to do this:
to change the greeting.
we used to go to Voice Mail. then 99#, then 1234 #,99#,then 3 , 1 for day menu..
selector code...
Once you go into voicemail, you dial 0# (zero pound) then 1234# ***** 3 for Automated Attendant Greeting.
I believe the default access is Intercom 777
hope that helps, if not you will need to contact Avaya for more info. But this is what they say to do.

We have the user guides and everything from the initial installation, none of the instructions include about the MAIN greeting. The instructions you have sent I have tried over and over and it says invalid.

Hi I hate these systems as well lol.
Don't stress it, contact Avaya they can help with this, I have had so many problems with these in the past so I am very familiar with the screwed up menus. I do sympathize with you on this I really do.
Here is the page they want you to use for email support for this problem.
https://support.avaya.com/contact/
But I would call them anyway lol;-)

I wish you the very best with this, I know its an issue with either a forgotten PW or a screwed up menu system they use and they change from time to time.
Please have a great day in any case and remember to rate my service kindly.
Thank you
