I have a panasonic KXTGA402 phone system and one of the phones does not wring and does not make noise when you press the keypad buttons. Can you help me figure out what's wrong with it please?
Already Tried: Increased the ringer volume on that particular phone.
Press 'Menu' then 'initial settings' then arrow down to 'key tone' and turn on. Also, check 'ringer settings' which is the first sub menu when you get 'initial settings' make sure it's on and turned up. If this does not help, unplug from AC adapter and leave off for a few minutes to reset. Here is the user manual and the instructions are on page 21 that I gave above:

Still not working. What could be another problem
Did you power off?
Remove the battery?
Try this for 30 minutes to reset it
Ok that didn't work either.
If you are certain that you have followed the directions in the manual for keypad tones to be on, then there is something wrong with the phone. I had hoped that the reset would bring it back, but not today. I guess you will have to replace the phone unfortunately.
