I have a uniden R035BT, with 3 additional base stations.Every now and then the base stations (not the handsets as best I can tell) let out one long ring. Then go back to silence. A real pain in the butt in the middle of the night.There is nothing different on the phone displays, no missed calls, no unread messages etc.Any idea what it is and how to stop it.
Already Tried: Unplugging and re setting the phone base station

No, there is nothing displayed on the hand set at the time it rings and there are no messages on the hand set to tell you it has happened after.
Please try leaving the handset on the base and let me know if the same thing happens. You can take all the time you need to get back to me.
Freddy, thats where we normally leave the handsets, on the base. It still does the phantom ring with it in the base.
Ok in that case we need to see if the phone line is causing the ring or the base itself is causing it. Please try disconnecting the phone line (just for tonight) and let me know if the same thing happens or not.
