I have a Panasonic KX-TG6071B cordless phone system. I have Verizon as a connection service. Is there any way to get incoming call numbers recorded in the voice mail record less the first digit, (the number 1). I will want to be able to touch talk upon reviewing the callers number. The number 1 will not go through, as Verizon requires a 10 digit number. If this telephone model will not allow this to occur, what cordless system do you have that will allow this feature?Your prompt response will be greatly appreciated.Perry Points
Hello - you can *try * enabeling "Caller ID edit" from your phone set up menue (depending on version, this can vary) . Once a call comes in and you want to remove the +1 , please edit THAT number (a friend or cell in your area code, each area code change would also need edited as well) but then you MUST call back that number in order to complete the work around. Please try this and advise, if this is not what you want and DO want to get another phone , I can advise as well, but MOST phones in this price range operate in "about" the same way. Please advise and thank you for your time.
this is fine, but as I edit these calls, I may not know who it is that called. The phone prompts me to enter a name. Further more, does doing this follow through for future calls from the same party?
Yes - it will follow that this for the AREA code(s) - each one (area code) woul need set up once, and called back to program / confirm. You can also edit - call back - re edit once the call is done to change name, I hope this helps, please advise and thank you for your time.
