Model KX-TGA N Just purchased - 6 handsets system. Handsets all indicate fulll charge. With regularity individual handsets will not function at all or cease to function after a few seconds. Occurs at headsets from all the charging stations and the base - but not all at once. Handset may or may not work the next time a called is received or initiated. Fred
Hello & Welcome,Sorry I didn't see your question earlier.Can you tell me the Model Number of the Main Base Unit you are working with?It should be located on the bottom of the main base and have a format of KX-TGxxxx - where xxxx is a 4-digit number. The KX-TGA numbers are for the handsets only.Also, is this a "brand new" system, and did ALL of the handsets come with the system (in the package)?Thanks

Hi again,Newly "refurbished"? That's interesting, and adds a bit of a twist to the issue.We now know that the actual AGE of the system is unknown, and the same is true of the condition of the batteries. Did you get this from a local supplier, or perhaps online?Thanks

Hi again,Sorry for the delay.To TEST is actually PART of the answer. Considering that the system was refurbished, that makes it "questionable" in quality, depending exactly where you got it. If it came with a guarantee, then I would take a little time to at least fully charge the batteries (at least 7 hours) AND TEST the system. If anything goes wrong within the guarantee period, I would return the system for refund or replacement.Again, I don't know exactly where you got this system and what the terms were, but I generally don't like getting "refurbished" systems - for reasons of "quality & reliability".
