I am trying to change the programming in our bcm50 Nortel phone system. What is the difference between "appear and ring", "appear only" and "ring only"? If I change the "appear only" to "appear and ring" it changes which extension picks up the voice mail if the call to that line is unanswered. This question I am guessing ties into the above question, but how do I direct a certain line to a voicemail extension is it is unanswered.Thanks for any help you can give, our phone company is not communicating with us after we purchased the lease and no one else supports Nortel locally.
