I have bought a Uniden Elite 9135 series phone. The first i got 4 weeks ago and when connected I got echo and feedback at my end of the line returned it to Dick Smith for repair. Two weeks later am told cannot be fixed and will be replaced. Picked up the new one 2 days ago and charged only to find exactly the same problem. I have had my line checked by telstra and that is not the problem. Rang Uniden this am and their response was to take it to a neighbour plug in and see if there is still a problem. Everything I say on the phone echoes back to me. Unless Uniden is a hopeless product I am almost sure there may be a simple solution to this. Can you help
Already Tried: Already covered but have also tried disconnecting my analog phone, removing power from a lamp near the phone, putting the line filter from my analogonto the Uniden
turn the volume down

Hi
I thought that might be the prob but I have turned the volume down to only 2 bars and still have the problem
Is the voltage to hot going to the phone. Also do you need any filters on your line?
How will i know if the voltage is too hot. i do have a filter on the analog phone and without it I get fuzzy noise. have put that filter on the new phone to no avail
Possibly get another wall transformer.. Uniden is notorious for this problem on certain phones
Yes

Look for the matching output voltage that matches up with the current one you have , should be printed on the current one you have
