Taking remeron 30 mg and 2 2mg tabs one hour apart and 6 mg

Customer Question

Taking remeron 30 mg and 2 2mg tabs one hour apart and 6 mg of melatonin along w 25 mg Benadryl as needed by psych dr's orders. I keep reading that a lower dosage of remeron is more sedating. Is this true and would it be better to take lower dose for my
insomnia/anxiety/depression?

what is the 2 mg tablet?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Sorry diazepam
Expert:  Dr. Phil, MD replied 1 year ago.

No that is not true.

remeron at 45 mg is more sedating than 30 mg

I would actually use a higher dose

Ok I keep reading lower doses are more sedating. Thought was strange
Expert:  Dr. Phil, MD replied 1 year ago.

It is not correct. I prescribe this drug all the time and it is more sedating at higher doses
