We are planning a trip which will require a malaria prophylactic. My husband currently takes Pradaxa, Simvastatin, Multaq and Cardizem. Obviously we don't want anything that would be contraindicated . I need to get an answer before finalizing a booking and his physician is obviously not going to be available to next week. Thank you.

Hi, your best option is to talk to your doctor about Malarone. Mefloquine should be avoided in conjuction with Multaq. It is always better to start the pills at least 1 week before travel.If you have additional questions, feel free to ask
