Customer Question

I AN 81 YRS OLD, HAVE NO IMERGENCY NEEDS, HAVE UPPER RESPIRATORY FOR WHICH i HAVE USED ADVAIR FOR FIFTEEN YRS, HI BLOODAMLODBENAZP FIVE=TEN MG AMD PROSTATE DOXAZOSIN FOUR MG. MY VERY GOOD DOCTOR OF FIFTEEN YEARS. THIRTY FIVE MILES AWAY HAS NOTIFIED HIS PATIENTS THAT SEVERAL OF THEM HAVE LEFT THEIR PRACTICE TO EMBARK ON A DIFFERENT SCALE OF PATIENT CARE, BUT, A MEMBER WILL HAVE TO PAY A YEARLY FEE OF TWENTY FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS TO ENROLL IN THEIR NEW ENDEAVER. THAT S FIVE THOU IN TWO YEARS. I CAN T AFFORD THIS. I AM ASHAMED TO CONYACT HIM TO RE NEW MY PRESCRIPTIONS BECAUSE I CANNOT AFFORD THE NEW PLAN. I DO NOT AT THIS TIME WISH TO PURSUE A NEW DOCTOR, MAYBE LATER, BUT MY ASKANCE IS , MY PRESCRIPTINS ARE NEAR OUT, CAN YOU ADVISE HOW I MIGHT GET IMMEDIATE REFILLS

Drugdad :

Hi, let me help you with this

Drugdad :

There is nothing to be ashamed here. You should contact your doctor or have your pharmacy do that for you to get your refills. Most doctors that do this transition to MDVIP or similar service, always give the patient enough time to transition to other doctors office.

Drugdad :

As long as they are still doing the transition, you can still ask for refill but if the transition is done your best option is to find a new doctor fast

Drugdad :

you are completely out of drugs, you should ask your pharmacy to give some to hold you over.

Drugdad :

If you have additional question, feel free to ask so I can explain further.

Drugdad :

Sorry, I didn't get your last post

Drugdad :

Take care
