Can someone who is allergic to shellfish take krill oil?

Can someone who is allergic to shellfish take krill oil?

pharmacydoc :

Krill is a crustacean similar to shrimp. Theoretically it is possible someone allergic to seafood may also be allergic to krill; however, there is no reliable information quantifying the likelihood of this risk; consequently, I would be inclined to advise against supplementation with krill oil in individuals having an allergy to shellfish.
