I had one shot of Prolea about 2 months ago. I have broken

Resolved Question:

I had one shot of Prolea about 2 months ago. I have broken out with small blisters on parts of my body. I am supposed to get a 2nd shot in the spring. My question: will I break out each time I take the shot, are chances that the outbreak will be more severe? Or, will I not have a reaction next time?

Pauline :

The first thing is to see your doctor to determine if these blisters are related to the Prolea or whether there is another cause such as viral infection or a blistering type eczema.

Pauline :

If this can be put down to the Prolea then you should not have a second shot as there is a risk that the second injection would give you a more severe reaction.
