I was wondering if you have and expert groomer, who could tell me how to groom my bichon/chahuahua mix?

I have mice inside my home eating a lot of bird food every night.
1. I assume they came in from the cold. Will they go back outside when the winter is over?
2. Would they stay if I moved the birdfood?
3. Does the poison sold in stores cause a painful death?

The kitty you have asked me to follow up on is dead. Her problems that I wrote to you about stemmed from a mammary tumor, which ultimately required euthanasia.

I am still having problems with my Hungarian Puli, which I have written to you about in the past. I acquired the dog on Feb. 13 2009 when she was four months old. The dog exhibits personality traits and physical characteristics that are not typical Puli traits. She is nearly three years old and has still not corded. I do not believe she is purebred Puli. Although she is a cute, happy, playful and very loving dog, she is recalcitrant, head-strong and disobedient, despite obedience training, and not at all like my previous Puli. She barks incessantly at workmen and will bite them if she is not kenneled. Her recidivism is becoming unbearable.

When I got her, I was told she was house broken. She was not. It took months to train her. From that time forward, about every four to seven months, she breaks her training. It seems to be some spiteful act. On March 10, 2010 and on March 29, 2010, after being housebroken since August, 2009, she urinated on my bed and couch, respectively. There were no further incidents until August 9, 2011, when she urinated on my den floor when she could not get outside to bite a worker.
On August 10, 2011, she appeared to be getting ready to squat in the living room. I locked her on her potty porch for 5 minutes. She did not urinate or poop. I locked her out for 10 more minutes. I opened door. She came in and while I was checking to see if she had gone, she pooped a huge pile on my bed and urinated. Having tried all other methods, I slapped her butt about three times and kenneled her.
There was no further "slips" until September 30. We came home from dinner and I found she had urinated three big spots on my bed. She knew she had done wrong because when I come home, she always runs to greet me, wagging her body. On this occasion, she ran to her kennel and would not come out.
I have tried every method known to man and nothing works. I think this is because she does know better but for whatever reasons she has, she is simply determined to do this. I am at wit's end. She has cost me thousands of dollars in Puli proofing the house and yard and in destroyed carpet and bedding and it just won’t end.
