My Chinese dwarf hamster was very shy and. But now her back

Customer Question

My Chinese dwarf hamster was very shy and long. But now her back looks hunched over and she is jumping and climbing upside down on the cage. My last Chinese hamster started acting like this and died 4 days later. Why does this happen?
JA: I'm sorry to hear that. What is the hamster's name?
Customer: Kiwi
JA: Is there anything else important you think the Veterinarian should know about Kiwi?
Customer: Just curious about this behavior?

1) How old was this hamster?
2) Was she still eating and drinking well?
3) Any labored breathing surrounding the acting shy?
