My name is ***** ***** I have been a Vet tech for 30+ years.

Was the urine red tinged or orange?

How many times has she noticed this?

Is she making any noise when she urinates?

What type of bedding do you use?

There are several issues that can be going on. Guinea pigs sit low t the ground which makes them prime canditates for UTI's. Bacteria can be gotten from the bedding and cause this issue. Other possibiities, could be bladder stones or a Pyometra which is a uterine infection. I suspect that this may be a UTI from the description since all else seems normal. This would require a Hands on exam to get an antibiotic.

I do want to add, the Guinea Pig needs hay daily all it can eat, as well as 1/8 cup of pellets and 1/2 cup of fresh veggetables. They also need a Vitamin C supplement since they cannot manufacture Vitamin C in the body.
