She's done this before and I've let her soak in warm water and she responded but for some reason she didn't today. She was moving around earlier this week so I'm pretty confused.

Hello,

My name is ***** ***** I have been a Vet tech for 30+ years with interest in Reptiles and Reptile Rescue.

To check to see how she is, Please pinch a back foot and see if she has a reflex reaction to pull the foot back away from the gentle pinch. Next please prod her rail area to see if she will stick her head back out and give a response. If she does pull her foot away or pop her head out we know she is still alive but possibly ill. If she does not respond to the stimulas, the I am afraid she is gone. Tortoises will shut down if cold as well as too warm. You can give her a soak in a 50/50 warm water and Pedialyte soak, if she responds to hydrate her. Plese et me know if she responds to your prompts.
