Hello,
The two vaccinations that should be given is Canine Distemper and a Rabies Vaccine. Most owners do not actually do this, but it is suggested for the health of a Ferret. The big issue is some ferrets are susceptable to vaccine reactions.
When getting the ferret vaccinated it is very wise to have a Vet that is familiar with Ferrets do the initial exam and spak with them on the pros and cons of vaccinations. Caninie Distemper is a series with booster shots at various intervals if they are given at all.
This link goes over the two vacination I have listed above and explains when the vaccines should be given: http://www.2ndchance.info/fervacs.htm
This is a link for Ferret Vets: http://www.ferret-universe.com/vets/vetlist.asp
