When we hear there is wheezing this can be the beginning of pneumonia. The Guinea Pigs seem to have a predispostion to this problem when they get sick. It may be bacterial or viral. I suggest seeing a Vet with cavy experience as they may need to administer some antibiotics that are cavy safe. If you scroll to the botton it explains about this: http://www.animalhospitals-usa.com/small-pets/guinea-pigs/guinea-pig-diseases/guinea-pig-diseasesgeneral.html
Right now I suggest keeping your baby comfortable by taking her into the bathroom to inhale some steam. You can open a jar of Vicks Vapor rub in the room to help relax the breathing. I have a link below to see if it helps locate a Cavy Savy Vet. Joan
