Pale feces or white feces can be caused by many things. In a young dog, I'd be worried about parasites, pancreatic insufficiency, or a maldigestion disorder. These would be the most common causes of discolored stool. It means there isn't enough bile pigment in the stool to make it dark. If I were you, I'd drop off a poop sample at your vet's office for analysis to check for parasites. If that comes back negative, I'd get the dog in for a check up. Let me know if you have more questions. Best wishes.
