Dear XXXXX, Thankyou for your question.

As you may have noticed McCaws aren't real choosy when it comes to wood. In their natural state they have continuous access to this type of treat and need it!

Soft pine is used by some.

Fresh fruit tree branches are nice if you've got some (or you have a kind friend who will help out).

Your Blue & Gold should not eat avacados, mushrooms, pet foods which can contain salmonella ,a serious enemy.

Chocolate, caffiene, alcohol ,cherry pits are not food for your bird either!

Salt, sugar, etc. are also not good for birds.

Leftovers spoil quickly so never leave them out more than one hour in a cage.
