Customer Question

My leopard gecko (3 years old, Male, Normal X Jungle) has been showing some very worrying symptoms for the past couple of weeks. Despite his fecals, Eating and Sleeping patterns are normal.
JA: Thanks. Can you give me any more details about your issue?
Customer: He keeps widely opening his mouth, eyes closed, spasms (seizure like, almost as if he keeps launching his head everywhere.) Then all of a sudden, he seems normal again. I feed him superworms and calciworms (since he hates Crickets oddly) 3 times a week with Nutribal 2:1 Calcium without D3. His current vivarium temp is 86.3F hot and 77.2F cold.
JA: OK got it. Last thing — Reptile Experts generally expect a deposit of about $18 to help with your type of question (you only pay if satisfied). Now I'm going to take you to a page to place a secure deposit with JustAnswer. Don't worry, this chat is saved. After that, we will finish helping you.

Hello and welcome. I apologize that no one responded to you sooner. Different experts come on at various times. I just logged on and saw your question. My name is ***** ***** I' a biologist with a special interest in reptiles. If you still need help, some additional information will be useful. How often has your gecko had his episodes? When he opens his mouth repeatedly, does it look like he is trying to take in more air? Does he ever seem to have weakness in his legs, or difficulty moving around? Thank you
