PUBLISHED AUTHOR WHO IS LAUNCHING HER SERIES ON GECKOS

Customer Question

I'M A PUBLISHED AUTHOR WHO IS LAUNCHING HER SERIES ON GECKOS FOR YOUNG CHILDREN. WHERE CAN I FIND GENERAL INFO. ON GECKOS THAT I CAN USE WITHOUT HAVING TO PAY USE FEES TO, I.E., OTHER AUTHORS, EDUCATIONAL SOURCES? I MAY COVER SUCH TOPICS AS WHAT GECKOS EAT, WHERE THEY LIVE, SELF DEFENSE, ETC.
I'm not sure if I'm in the right place to get the info. I need. I'm trying to collect free info. on geckos that I can use in my gecko series for young children. Info. I don't have to pay copyright use fees, since I'm on a shoe string budget. These books educate young children (ages 3-8) very simply and generally about geckos, using poetic language to instill in them a love of language. I hope to get answers to such questions as:
1. how are geckos born? what are their respective life spans?
2. can they cross breed with other gecko types or even different but related lizards, i.e. chameleons?
3. how do they build their homes?
4. which countries are they the most prevalent?
5. what info. do you have on both the most common and most exotic geckos?
6. do any species like or dislike being in water?
7. do I get your answers in written form, i.e. email? I'm hearing impaired, so that's the easiest way for me.
I'm trying your least expensive service and asking as many questions as I can to see how you work
