Hello,

My name is ***** ***** I have been a Vet tech for 30+ years with special interest in Reptiles and Reptile Rescue. I am sorry for the wait, but I just signed on and saw you have been waiting. Any time a Tortoise is regurgitating is cause for concern. This can be a sign of a problem like Parasites, Respiratory infection or even a blockage. I do highly urge an exam by a qualified Herp Vet to see what is going on and treat accordingly. Even though they do not hibernate some do go into a torpor and slow down in the cooler weather, so having him checked out is very important. He should not be regurgitating.

If you do not have a Herp Vet I can locate some with your State. Please let me know if you need a list. If I have addressed your concerns, please take a moment to rate my service 5 Stars.
