Welcome to justanswer and thank you for your question.

Since how long you have these symptoms?

Customer: replied 4 years ago.

Expert:  robertfernando replied 4 years ago.
Did this started after you took outside meals?
Chills or fever?
Cramping pain in abdomen?
Customer: replied 4 years ago.
after took him for a swim in the pool, it is very hot here at the moment
Expert:  robertfernando replied 4 years ago.
It is possible that he may be suffering from E. coli infection.
It causes severe watery diarrhea with blood mixed in stool.
Light bleeding in stool can be due to bacterial infection. If left untreated it can lead to complications.
Stool culture test should be done for diagnosis.
Based upon the stool test, antibiotics will be selected.

I advise that you should not delay and rush him to ER ASAP.
Good luck and take care.
