My female pit mix keeps itching her back by her rear and her

Customer Question

My female pit mix keeps itching her back by her rear and her tail until it bleeds. We wash both our pits monthly and haven't had any flea problems. What can I do to help heal her wounds and relieve her itching affordably? My husband & I can't afford expensive vet bills and testing so I'm trying to figure out what I can do to help my girl.
JA: I'm sorry to hear that. Is your dog bleeding a lot?
Customer: No its just a wet ooze and she doesn't get it to bleed every day. It's like a surface scratch we would put neosporin and a bandage if it was on us.
JA: What is the dog's name and age?
Customer: Gwennie and she will be 4 years old on December 1st.
JA: Is there anything else the Veterinarian should be aware of about Gwennie?
Customer: She's a pit bull/great dane mix. She's never had this problem before

Can you attach pictures of the area?

When did this begin?

Are you using any oral or topical medications for her, especially flea prevention?
