Customer Question

My Wheaten Terrier is showing signs of Lyme disease. He had been bitten by several ticks this summer and I removed the ticks as soon as I found them. Lucca is flavoring his left front paw from time to time. What can I do to help him
JA: I'm sorry to hear that. Is the terrier bleeding a lot?
Customer: No not at all. Mostly he is himself. The vet gave him the treatment to protect him, but after he was bitten.
JA: What is the terrier's name and age?
Customer: Lucca just turned 3 years
JA: Is there anything else the veterinarian should be aware of about Lucca?
Customer: No, he is very active and healthy and is very sweet and happy

Do you recall what medication was given to protect him? Has a tick been found since then?

Has any bloodwork been performed since finding ticks?
