Customer Question

My dog is drooling excessively and has a little diarrhea. I don't know of anything poison she may have gotten into. I don't have a car and I am not sure how to get to the best animal hospital is far away. I am wondering if I should try giving activated charcoal or rice. or bread.
JA: Did you see what your dog ate?
Customer: A cabinet was open but the only thing I can think she may have gotten into is ant bait houses.
JA: Have there been any changes in the dog's appearance or diet?
Customer: No. I have no idea. No chemicals are around, and the door was open to the yard but I have no pesticides or anything unusual in the yard. I am wondering if I should call poison control. Her eyes were a little weepy. When I first noticed this about 25 minutes ago her heart was beating rapidly. It does not seen fast now.
JA: Is there anything else you think the vet should know?
Customer: She is soiled around her anus, and there seemed to be some mucous like diarrhea.
