The active ingredient in that product is naphazoline. Serious events requiring hospitalization such as coma, decreased heart rate, decreased breathing, and sedation (sleepiness) have occurred when small children ingested only a small amount (1-2 mL; for reference, there are 5 mL in a teaspoon) of the eye drops. Simply chewing on the bottle won't intoxicate Trunks, however. Did he puncture the bottle? Are you seeing any worrisome symptoms at this time?
