Customer Question

our pug has been diagnosed with subarachnoid cyst. Spinal cord. Not recommending surgery. What do you think? Are there trials to get dog into? Would you recommend a Hemilaminectomy?
JA: I'll do all I can to help. What is the matter with the dog?
Customer: The dog had an MRI - ataxia in hind quarters, lack of fecal control at times, seems to have a hard time squatting to go to the bathroom (run by poopies)
JA: Where does the dog seem to hurt?
Customer: I'm not sure he is pain, doesn't have control of left back hind leg
JA: OK. No obvious pain. Have you looked to see if there is a wound on their foot?
Customer: I'm not sure you are reading this. He had an MRI and was diagnosed with subarachnoid cyst
JA: What is the dog's name and age?
Customer: Rescue and puppy mill dog. around 8-10 years old. Phil
JA: Is there anything else the Veterinarian should be aware of about Phil?
