Customer Question

My young dog has suffered repeated bouts of vomiting and diarrhea. Copious! We take get to vet, now the fourth time in as many months and she is prescribed metronidazole. She gets nothing from the table, has been on diet of a bland Science Diet and still gets sick. What's wrong?

Since she has been seen several times over the last few months and no obvious reason has been found, I would be more concerned about a food allergy. She is a little young, but it can happen. Let me ask a few questions to get a better idea of what my be causing this. Has she been on any other medications over the last several months? Is she a chewer? (meaning clothes, foreign objects) and how long has she been on the bland diet? Lets start there.

No medication. Is not a chewer. We do give her a rawhide chew every day.
