hey...my jack Brussel came back with an albumin of 2.1...I sent his urine in today...he was covered in ticks TWICE this summer. Just wondering if lyme is a good candidate

You're correct to consider a Lyme nephropathy which is characterized by protein loss through damaged glomeruli (the filtering organs of the kidneys). Hypoalbuminemia (less than 2.5 g/dL) can also arise from chronic hepatic insufficiency, inadequate protein intake, maldigestion, malabsorption, and a protein-losing enteropathy (intestinal disroder) such as lymphangectasia. I would be pleased to review all of Leonard's test results.
