Hi this is Dr. Hill. Please give me a moment to type my response. thank you

Expert:  Kelly Hill replied 5 months ago.

Molly is definitely acting nauseous. Nausea is typically associated with pancreatitis (inflammation of the pancreas in response to high fat intake), gastroenteritis secondary to an infection, inflammation or foreign body or a toxicity. Has she gotten into the trash this past week? Does she get any people food (meats, cheese) or marrow bones? What anti seizure medication is she on?

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
She's crying and still indicating she wants to go out. Is breathing but agitated
Customer: replied 5 months ago.
Phenobarbital 60-65mg. Two in morning 1 1/2 in evening
Expert:  Kelly Hill replied 5 months ago.

Can you think of anything that she has gotten into lately?

Customer: replied 5 months ago.

She just all of a sudden got like this
Customer: replied 5 months ago.
she seems nauseous
Customer: replied 5 months ago.
She is over weight and yes gets some people food even though we know she shouldn't. Has had some symptoms of UTI
Customer: replied 5 months ago.
She seems to be calmer. Going back out to see if whatever it is will come up
Expert:  Kelly Hill replied 5 months ago.

If she has been showing signs of a UTI and is now nauseous, then the two are likely related. She should have a urinalysis and some bloodwork to make sure that she does not have pancreatitis and that her kidney values are normal. If she vomits and is then able to settle down and rest, you can likely wait until morning to take her to your local veterinarian. If she is anxious, continues to try vomiting and can't get comfortable then she needs to be seen tonight.
