Get Your Dog Care Questions Answered by Experts
Hello and sorry for the delay in getting to your question, but I just got online and decided to try and help.
My name is***** but you can call me Dr. H, and I am a licensed veterinarian. I understand that your pet Max is shaking as if trying to get something off of him.
Have you checked his ears to make sure he doesn't have any foul odors or debris (yellow or brown) inside the ears. Often pets will shake when they have an ear infection, and cocker spaniels are commonly afflicted with ear problems.
Another possible cause of the shaking is a mild allergy. You mentioned his eyes are sometimes red. Are his eyes red right now?

I see you had a chance to review my reply. I was having trouble connecting to the site and wonder if you were as well. However I have to step offline for now so I will opt out of the chat to see if another expert can assist you further. Best of luck with you and your pet Max.
Hello, JACustomer. I've stepped in to help in Dr. H's absence.1) Is Max on any medication at this time?2) Can you post pictures to show the red you're seeing in his eyes? 3) How long has this been an issue? 4) Is this a chronic issue or just recently developed?
