Did you have a chance to take a look at the videos? If so, did it look like any of these?
If you're able to look at all of them, please do. Especially the laryngeal paralysis video, which is more common in labs.Large breed dogs can acquire heart disease, as well. If this is CHF, it's typically diagnosed through examination, chest x-rays and/or cardiac ultrasound. Medications are prescribed according to the symptoms the pet has including medication to improve contractility, lower heart rate, remove excess fluid from the body, etc.
