Hi, this is Dr. Gabby.

As long as he is not on any medications you can give him human aspirin.

If he is 50 pounds he can take one adult 325 mg aspirin every 12 hours as needed.

Give it with food to help prevent gastrointestinal upset.

If you think it is his tooth feed him soft foods until he sees the vet.

You can add some low sodium broth or warm water to his food.

Does that help? Do you have any additional questions?

Does the mouth opening and closing and the lips vibrating seem like a symptom of the tooth

It could be a tooth.

It could also be nausea. You could try a 10 mg Pepcid AC or 10 mg Zantac and see if that helps.

If he is have lip tremors he may have ingested something toxic.

If he is doing it and you can not distract him or get him to stop it could be a bit of seizure type activity.

He could also have a foreign body or something stuck in his mouth.
