I am sorry to hear Dipper has been hit by a car. My name is Rebecca. I am a veterinarian and will do my best to help.
Is he walking on all four legs? If you check his gums, are they a normal bright pink or do they look pale?
How much does he weigh, so I can give you dosages of drugs?
These are things you should NOT give him: Advil/ibuprofen, Aleve, Flexeril, aspirin.
Tylenol is not safe for long term use but should be OK once or twice, but again I need some idea of what he weighs. Do you have any tramadol?
If his gums seem pale, this is an emergency, he could be in shock or have internal bleeding.
Will he eat and drink?
How do his gums look? Will he take food or at least water? Is he walking on all four legs?
He can take 40 mg of Tylenol twice daily. Not great for pain, but there is no other safe over the counter medication you can give. Aspirin could worsen internal bleeding or cause vomiting.
