Our beagle coonhound mix 16 month old ate by mistake a 1 mg

Customer Question

Our beagle coonhound mix 16 month old ate by mistake a 1 mg Xanax. Should we try to get her to throw up by giving her milk with hydrogen peroxide?

No. I might dose at 0.025 mg/lb with alprazolam (Xanax). 1 mg would treat a 40 lb dog and I expect a beagle coonhound mix to weight just about that. Am I close?

Hi Pat,

I'm just following up on our conversation about Maddie. How is everything going?
