How much does Rudder weight, please? We can dose dogs with both loperamine and Lomotil. The vitamin E and fish oil are of no consequence.

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
About 25 to 30 pounds

Thank you. Loperamide can be dosed at 0.1 mg/lb or 2.5 mg for Rudder. Diphenoxylate + atropine (Lomotil) can be dosed at 0.1 mg/lb or 2.5 mg for Rudder as well. Were there more pills than that? If so, please let me know.

I think he ate 7. 2.5 mg of lomotil comes out to 20 mg of lomotil
Customer: replied 3 months ago.
He also are 7 small capsules of loperamide I don't know how may mg

Ah! Thank you. That's a significant overdose which could cause central nervous system, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, or respiratory toxicity. Inducing emesis with 3% hydrogen peroxide dosed at 2 measuring tablespoons and administered with a small poultry baster placed between his cheek teeth and cheek is indicated. He should vomit within 15 minutes. If not, repeat the same dose. This is predicated upon his ingesting the Lomotil within 30 minutes. It's absorbed very quickly.
