Customer Question

Mulah, 15 years young, jumped from the bed this morning, yelped, has limped all day. Seems like slightly better, but she's pretty brave, she was attacked 10 years ago, after 100 stitches, healed quickly. What could a Vet do unless its serious?

Hi there. My name is ***** ***** I'm happy to help you with your question today. You're actually on the right track with the 1/4 aspirin that you gave.....Since it just happened this morning and seems like the limping is improving, although just slightly, I strongly suspect that she's got a soft tissue injury...in other words, a sprain of sorts. If Mulah were my girl, I would rest her for the next day or so. If possible, keep her from jumping onto or off of things and no long walks or going to the dog park. If this is just a soft tissue injury, then you'll see her steadily improve over the next few days.If she becomes more painful, stops putting any weight on that leg, or if you notice any swelling then you should have her vet take a peek, just to be on the safe side.I hope this helps.
