My 32 pound dog just ate 1 possiblybtwo pieces of orbit gum. She seems fine, what should I do? How much is toxic to her?

Orbit gums can contain between 0.006-0.38 grams of xylitol per piece of gum. The worst case scenario would be 0.76 grams in a 32 lb (14.5 kg) dog or 0.05 grams/kg = 50 mg/kg. This is under the dose of 75-100 mg/kg which can cause hypoglycemia in dogs and so neither inducing emesis nor treating Celeste Sweet in any manner is necessary.
