Customer Question

My maltepoo shakes his head. Vet has tried antibiotics, steroids(topical and oral). He does not have infection, discharge. Ears look fine. Allergies we believe but...even Benadryl doesn't stop. Are there allergy specialists for dogs? Don't know if food or environmental or how to figure it out. Thank you, ***** *****
JA: Thanks. Can you give me any more details about your issue?
Customer: Used to be seasonal but now year around. Scratches some but mostly shakes head. Not tender, seems to feel good when I massage in drops
JA: OK got it. Last thing — Dog Specialists generally expect a deposit of about $19 to help with your type of question (you only pay if satisfied). Now I'm going to take you to a page to place a secure deposit with JustAnswer. Don't worry, this chat is saved. After that, we will finish helping you.

Good evening, thanks for your question. Not only are there specialists for this, but I'd be more than happy to assist you in finding a place that can handle such a concern. If you will kindly reply with your city, state and zip code, I'll see what I can find in your area. Most of the time these are speciality hospitals who employ board certified veterinary dermatologists. They often do focus greatly on pets who come in with allergies.
